The network is managed by a voluntary advisory committee, made up of nine local home-based business people, which works closely with Council's Economic Development Unit. It meets once a month, on the third Thursday of the month, from February to November. Meetings take the form of a guest speaker or panel, a forum to discuss common issues and close with the chance to chat over a drink and a snack.
The October meeting takes the form of a Business Expo. Meetings are always friendly and informal and are open to anyone operating a home-based business within or near the Shire.
As well as hosting monthly meetings the Network also produces a monthly newsletter – copies of this can be downloaded below.
And remember, the thing most networkers say is the best about attending network nights is the contacts they make with other home-based businesses. So if the topic is not exactly what you are interested in, consider coming just for the networking and issues forum.
If you would like to join the Network please fill out the membership form or contact Julie French, Tourism and Business Development Coordinator, on 9433 3315
